The Boys Soccer Team is on a role right now with a record of 7-1 and 4-0 in the WCAL. With a win against Smithville on the 18th, that would make them undefeated in the league the first time around.
Nic Graham leads the Norwayne Bobcats to a 4-1 win over Smithville. He scored three goals in the outing.
Nic Graham continued his reign in a 4-2 win over Chippewa. This win clinched the WCAL for the Norwayne Bobcats. The boys play this Saturday, away. against the Smithville Smithies in an attempt at a clean sweep of the league.
The girls' soccer team was presented the "2021 Sportsmanship Award" by the Canton Soccer Referee Association. All soccer officials in the Canton Association voted on who should earn the award, and Norwayne was bestowed the honor! The award goes to the team that demonstrates the best character and integrity that inspires others.
The boys' soccer team secured a number one seed in their district along with a two seed in the region. They will begin tournament play on October 23rd.
Go support the boys high school soccer team as they play in their first game of the tournament. The game will take place on Saturday, October 23rd against St. Thomas Aquinas.
